technology Great Broadcast DX Resources! |

|
The information age has given
broadcast DXers more resources than ever before. The Internet alone has
become a valuable link for real time access to the latest information. Here
are some important references in print and on the web to help you get the
most out of your broadcast DX experience. The National Radio Club (NRC)
AM Radio Log, 22nd Edition, edited by Wayne, N0POH and Joan, KB0YRX, Heinen,
is the most complete single source of information for those who enjoy
listening to distant AM radio stations from Canada and the United States.
The log lists all AM broadcast stations in the U.S. and Canada including
Alaska and Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canadian
territories by frequency with call letters, city of license, time zone,
antenna pattern, power, mailing address, phone number, format, networks,
slogans, hours of operation, and notes. Radio stations are cross referenced
by city and call letters. Much of the detailed information is provided by
club members and users of the log, including working QSL addresses that can
often be different from those in the FCC database. The log is three-hole
punched loose leaf. The NRC AM Radio Log is available from Universal Radio. |
